Telekom secured the TV rights to all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup and broadcasts every game on MagentaTV – many in UHD. ARD and ZDF sub-licensed 60 matches for free TV: all Germany games, the opening match, both semi-finals and the final are guaranteed free to watch.

That leaves 44 matches you will not find on free TV at all. Whoever wants the full tournament – every group, every underdog, every late-night thriller – needs access beyond ARD and ZDF.

When does Germany play? Schedule & kick-off times

Because the hosts are the USA, Canada and Mexico, the time difference shifts many kick-offs into the German evening and night. These are Germany's group matches (German time):
